We’re thrilled to share that Woman’s Week recently highlighted Thomas’ Hope Foundation for our meaningful contribution to “Sound Waves”—an innovative event led by a renowned Hamptons healer exploring vibrational medicine, originally designed to support those with brain injury, now extended as a holistic support space for people in recovery from substance use disorder

What the Feature Celebrated

Titled “Sound Waves complement Painkillers as Hamptons Healer explores Vibrational Medicine for Brain Injury Recovery, the article recognizes the power of sound therapy in mitigating physical and emotional pain. More importantly, it highlights how complementary, non-pharmacological approaches—like sound healing—can provide relief, calm, and reconnection for individuals navigating recovery.

We were honored to co-host this transformative experience, offering people with substance use disorder:

  • A safe, nurturing environment to feel their bodies and emotions physically shift through vibrational support

  • Connection to a broader mind–body toolkit beyond traditional medical offerings

  • Extraordinary hope that holistic practices can support recovery on every level

Why This Matters to Our Mission

At Thomas’ Hope Foundation, we’ve long believed recovery requires more than treatment—it demands spaces for healing, reconnection, and meaning. Our dedication to providing compassionate support, education, and wrap‑around care is rooted in this holistic vision .

When we saw the opportunity to bring vibrational healing into our programming, we embraced it. By co-hosting "Sound Waves," our community had the chance to:

  • Experience profound moments of release and calm through guided vibrational exercises

  • Witness firsthand how alternative modalities can complement traditional therapeutic frameworks

  • Gain renewed belief in their capacity to heal—body, mind, and spirit

A Ripple Effect of Healing

Recovering from substance use disorder can be isolating and painful. But events like these:

  • Create shared experiences that foster connection and belonging

  • Introduce powerful coping tools that extend beyond clinical settings

  • Highlight a growing recognition in the wellness world that healing is multi-dimensional

Thank You for Healing with Us

We’re deeply grateful to Woman’s Week for drawing attention to this powerful collaboration and for sharing the story of how healing can look—and feel—different for each of us. And most importantly:

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, recovery coaches, and every single participant who helped make this event possible. You are the heart of our mission, showing all that recovery isn’t just about overcoming substances—it’s about nurturing hope, dignity, and transformation.
